Why does my monitor arm feel too tight when moving?
If you’re unable to move the monitor arm smoothly, it is likely due to over-tightened components during setup. Please check the following:
- Arm Tension: Adjust the tension screw at the main joint to match your monitor's weight. DO NOT overtighten the tension screw, or the monitor arm may not move at all.
- Screen Tilt/Swivel: If the monitor itself is hard to tilt or rotate, check the joint directly behind the screen. DO NOT overtighten the screws behind the VESA plate, or you won't be able to adjust your screen's angle.

What equipment do I need to start sim racing?
To start sim racing, you need three main components: a gaming platform (PC or console), racing peripherals (a steering wheel and pedals), and a secure mounting solution. A dedicated sim rig or foldable stand is essential to hold your equipment firmly in place and replicate a realistic driving posture.
How much room do I need for a sim racing setup?
Space requirements vary. A full simulator cockpit with a dedicated seat requires an area of about 5 to 6 feet long. If you have limited space, a foldable racing wheel stand is the perfect solution. Does the cockpit support Direct Drive wheelbases (e.g., DD11)?
Unfortunately, it is not compatible. This racing stand is engineered for entry to mid-level force feedback setups. The steering wheel mount has a maximum torque limit of 6 N·m, and the pedal plate supports a maximum pressure of 6 bar. Using an 11 N·m wheelbase would exceed the structural limits of this product.
Will a full setup feel cramped or get in the way while driving?
Not at all. The areswing stand features an upgraded, roomier frame design. Because the wheel deck, pedal plate, and side-mounted shifter are all independently adjustable, you get plenty of clearance for smooth shifting and footwork without any interference.

What if my microphone doesn't fit the thread?
Don't worry! The package includes standard 3/8" to 5/8" thread adapters. Simply find the adapter that fits your microphone or shock mount, screw it onto the silver tip of the boom arm, and then attach your microphone.
How do I adjust the joint tension if the arm droops or feels too tight?
If the arm is sinking under the weight of your microphone or is too stiff to move smoothly, simply locate the tension screws at the joints. Use the included Allen key to turn the screws—tighten them to hold heavier mics in place, or loosen them slightly for easier, one-handed adjustments.
